
I just got Kenwood Kdc-Bt945U CD/AM/FM/USB Receiver with Bluetooth Great looks, sounds great, that's about itBy Brian JagielskiI bought this for the nice clean, simple design and A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming. I don't like a lot of buttons and flashing lights on my receiver. Of course Kenwood's sound awesome but unfortunately, they can't design a good user interface.The screen is black and white and although there are 5 lines of text allowed on the display, the designers use hardly any of it and what they do use is wasted on huge, ugly icons. Some lines of text are upper/lower case, some are all CAPS. Annoying. It's also hard to read if your car allows a lot of light in.Reaction time is very sluggish. If you change the volume, it takes 2 seconds to get back to the main screen. When you push the Favorites button, the screen goes blank then displays the word Favorites for 1-2 seconds before showing the presets. Extremely annoying when you're trying to change stations. I already know I'm in Favorites, I don't need the screen to tell me. Just take me there.Because there are ... »
